Main Dental Receptionist

Job Description

A new exciting full-time role as receptionist is now available in a prestigious dental practice in Harley Street.

We are dynamic, young and forward thinking and we are looking for someone with enthusiasm and a can-do attitude. This is an ideal position for someone that is thinking long term and keen on growing along with the business. The practice is brand new, modern and already established within the area. The business owner has ambitious plans and a clear idea on where he wants to take his business. He is keen on investing in his staff, including staff training and career pathway development. The patients list is mainly made of people who have been with the Principal Dentist for the many years, so a professional but also friendly attitude is what will be required.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

DAILY PRACTICE MANAGEMENT AND ADMIN



Share responsibility for the day to day running of the practice

Welcome and deal with all the patients or visitors in a pleasant and prompt manner

Manage and optimise appointments and dental practice agenda/calendar (SOE booking system)

Work closely with the Principal Dentist and support him with the organisation of the practice and personal commitments

Ordering and replacing office stock, equipment and stationery

Liaison with IT department for any issue or troubleshooting at the practice

Shared responsibility of maintaining a current awareness of any health and safety legislation changes, CQC or DOH requirements and translating these into practice policy

Being the initial point of contact for patient complaints and addressing any that fall outside of clinical boundaries

Liaise with dental laboratories, suppliers and other organisations as required, keeping records of laboratory work in and out

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT



Collect and record patient payments and pursue any debts in accordance with the practice payments policy

Share responsibility for monitoring cash flow, banking, depositing money and verifying statements

Enforcing patient payment plans and minimising debts

SALES AND MARKETING



Identify area for development and support new marketing strategies

Liaise with external marketing agency

Collect and reply to patient feedback

Share responsibility of Social media presence

Actively involved in the business development plan and sales initiatives

Generate reports and keep an eye on trends and data

Hours:



Monday to Friday, flexible working time. Mostly 9:00am to 6:00pm but some days might start and finish later.

Salary:



From 30K - 34KPA depending on experience - Additional quarterly bonus based on performance and yearly appraisal will be negotiated

The candidate:



Preferably from medical/dental or hospitality background

Italian speaking (preferred)
Ideally SOE trained

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 28,000.00-33,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
