Nursery: Main Street Nursery School, Main Street, Long Eaton, Nottingham, NG10 1GR

Hours: 10 hours per week (9am - 2pm 2 days per week)

Salary: 12.21 per hour

Hello, I'm Tracy, the Nursery Manager at Main Street.


With 28 years of experience working with children of various ages across different settings, I'm proud to lead a long-serving, close-knit team. Together, we have created a very homely and welcoming environment where every child feels valued and supported.


Our gardens are designed to cater to all ages, featuring flower beds, a vegetable patch, and a real shop area--offering hands-on learning experiences that inspire curiosity and creativity. Inside, our cosy nursery fosters a warm, home-like atmosphere, with special spaces where siblings and friends can see each other throughout the day.

What you'll be doing

As a Cleaner, you will maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the nursery setting. Following the cleaning schedule, you will ensure all areas are kept clean, tidy, safe and well cared for. Your role will involve managing cleaning materials and supplies, in line with health and safety guidelines, following the latest child protection and health and safety legislation.


You will work closely with the educator team to ensure any issues impacting daily operations are reported and dealt with quickly, effectively and safely.

What you'll need

Experience in a similar role Enthusiasm and high standards of cleanliness An excellent understanding of basic hygiene and cleanliness Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH Understands the importance of safeguarding and site security
