Position Summary:



The Maintenance Supervisor oversees all aspects of property maintenance to ensure the efficient operation, safety, and upkeep of the hotel facilities. This role manages a team of technicians and ensures timely completion of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, supporting a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:



Supervise, train, and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance. Oversee preventive maintenance programs for all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and equipment regularly to identify and resolve maintenance issues proactively. Respond promptly to maintenance service requests and emergency calls, ensuring quick resolution with minimal disruption to guests. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and inventory. Assist the Chief Engineer in planning, budgeting, and executing capital improvement projects and renovations. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as Blanket Hotel and Spa policies and standards. Maintain proper stock levels of tools, spare parts, and supplies, placing orders when necessary. Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs, servicing, and inspections. Foster a positive working environment, motivating the team to uphold high standards of professionalism and service.

Requirements:



Minimum 4-6 years of experience in facilities or hotel maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Technical diploma, certification, or trade qualification in electrical, mechanical, or building services preferred. Solid knowledge of maintenance procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and safety practices. Familiarity with BMS (Building Management Systems), fire safety systems, and energy management practices. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure. Proficient in using maintenance management software and basic computer applications. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and be on-call as required.
