Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Grand Pier Limited in Weston-super-Mare. The ideal candidate needs to be proficient in mechanical , electrical , hydraulics, and pneumatics and have a minimum of two years experience in these disciplines. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and attractions, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on various attractions and facilities Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency Assist in the installation of new equipment as needed Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance-related inquiries Support leadership in training new maintenance staff Ability to fault find and diagnose Maintain and control a working stock of spares Maintain ride logs and fault books

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, and facilities maintenance Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus Ability to read schematics and technical manuals Driving license desirable Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills in English Leadership experience is preferred but not required
