Red Sky Personnel are recruiting for a Maintenance assist at Heathrow Airport.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for entry level candidates looking to launch their career in Aviation. As a Maintenance Assist it will be your role to support the engineering teams. You will do this by finding the required equipment, tooling and materials for the respective teams. You will be required to drive and operate specialist equipment, such as Aircraft Tugs, Cranes, Docking, High Access equipment, Catering Truck and Cleaning Vehicles and maintaining good housekeeping standards of the working environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment through adherence to quality, health and safety and housekeeping standards

• Ensures compliance with all appropriate company procedures, policies, legal and regulatory requirements

• Driving and operation of all vehicles appropriate to area, including mechanical handling, lifting equipment and elevated work platforms to the limit of permits held.

• Transport, position and deliver components, materials and equipment to support maintenance \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform and assist with maintenance tasks as directed including cleaning and adverse weather duties

• Replenish vehicles, storage facilities and equipment as necessary

• Support the development of a high-performance team and culture, in line with the company Hallmarks

• Support the delivery of departmental and directorate objectives

• Self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Requirements

Due to the role being airside you will need to obtain an airside pass therefore you will be required to provide the following:

• 5-year checkable history (employment, self-employment, education or benefit claim)
• 5-year UK address history \xe2\x80\xa2 Eligibility to work in UK (UK Passport, EU Passport, Non-EU Passport & Visa, Biometric Residence Permit, UK Birth Certificate & (British citizens only)
• Provide proof of National Insurance
• Provide proof of address dated within the last 3mths (utility bill, bank statement, HMRC Letter)
• Successful candidates will be required to pass driver medical and driving assessment.
• Applicants must be over the age of 21
