The Role

The successful candidate will report to the factory manager ensuring all factory plant and equipment is maintained and operational, supporting a seamless manufacturing operation.

The successful candidate will

Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment/breakdowns with urgency to ensure production schedules are met Maintain a variety of mechanical equipment including (but not limited to) lasers, Press Brake, Mill, Lathe, Linisher, Rumbler and Forklift/Vehicle checks Complete Daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checks on factory equipment Own and complete a high-quality preventative plant maintenance to minimize plant downtime. Ensure that all engineering contract labour follow site operating, and safety procedures and the quality of work is compliant with company standards Assist with the installation of a wide range of production plant and machinery Maintain housekeeping standards

Requirements

Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or in a similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various tools and equipment. Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting. Good command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with team members. Customer service orientation with a focus on maintaining positive relationships within the organisation.
