Location: Mark, Somerset
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:30pm (includes 5 hours regular overtime)
Occasional additional overtime required for essential maintenance

We're looking for a

Maintenance Assistant

to join our team at

Somerlap

-- an established, employee-owned business based in Mark, Somerset. This is a hands-on, varied role working across planned and reactive maintenance on automated production lines, woodworking machinery, forklifts, fleet vehicles, and general property maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and repair automated production lines and woodworking equipment Carry out routine and emergency repairs on forklifts and fleet vehicles Support general property and site maintenance

What We're Looking For

A team player with good communication skills Physically fit and comfortable with manual work Electrical experience would be an advantage and knowledge on pneumatics and hydraulics. Experience in maintaining manufacturing lines is a plus but training is provided Strong awareness of Health & Safety and maintaining a clean, safe work environment
