Maintenance Assistant

30 Hours (Potential for Holiday Cover)

This role is 4 or 5 days per week with 4 of these days being

Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday

each week

We're currently looking for a Maintenance Assistant at Seamill Hydro & Resort to work within our maintenance team. The successful candidate will ideally be skilled in basic plumbing, electrics, joinery, painting and have experience of gardening, power washing, and general hotel maintenance. Seamill Hydro Hotel & Resort is a large scale venue, with 86 bedrooms, a function suite, 2 restaurants as well as leisure facilities.

As Maintenance Assistant you will carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks correctly and efficiently ensuring a safe environment for guests, visitors and employees. You will need to have a keen eye for detail, be an effective communicator and possess excellent knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations. You will be organised and react promptly and efficiently as requested to meet the needs of the business.

What you'll need:

Previous experience within a maintenance role A time-served trades person would be highly beneficial but not essential Positive attitude and strong work ethic Excellent communication skills

Pay: 12.50 per hour
