Job Summary



We are looking for a highly skilled

Maintenance Planning & Compliance Manager

with a strong engineering background to join our team and play a key role in ensuring that all maintenance work across our rides and attractions is safe, compliant, and efficient. This is a pivotal role in maintaining operational excellence, optimising maintenance processes, and ensuring that all regulatory, OEM, and safety standards are consistently met.

Reporting directly to the Head of Resort Maintenance, you will take ownership of maintenance planning, compliance audits, CMMS (Mobaro) management, and the training and competency of our engineering team. This role requires a balance of hands-on technical expertise, administrative skill, and strong organisational capability. The role operates on a rota basis, including occasional weekend work, and may require some hands-on time supporting the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities



Engineering Oversight & Quality Control:



Conduct regular inspections of maintenance work carried out by engineers and senior engineers to ensure compliance with OEM and safety standards Perform quality assurance checks on completed work and provide feedback for continuous improvement Provide technical guidance to engineers and support problem-solving for complex maintenance issues

Compliance & Audits:



Carry out audits to ensure all work complies with OEM maintenance schedules and regulatory requirements Maintain detailed compliance records and reports for internal use and regulatory inspection Track and monitor corrective actions from audits and ensure timely resolution Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practice

CMMS (Mobaro) Management:



Lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing management of the Mobaro CMMS Ensure all equipment, spare parts, maintenance schedules, and tasks are accurately recorded and maintained in the system Produce reports on maintenance activity, downtime, and asset performance Train and support the engineering team to ensure effective use of CMMS tools

Training & Competency Management:



Ensure all engineers receive regular training and annual competency assessments Maintain a competency register, with a minimum standard of 75% competency across all rides and attractions Support the development of continuous learning initiatives and technical development programs

Safety & Risk Management:



Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance across all maintenance activities Ensure risk assessments are current and reviewed annually or following incidents Contribute to plans to prevent incidents and mitigate risks during maintenance operations

Administration & Organisation:



Maintain accurate records for audits, inspections, and compliance reporting Organise maintenance schedules and coordinate engineering resources efficiently Support the planning and execution of maintenance programs across multiple sites

Continuous Improvement:



Identify opportunities for improving equipment reliability, maintenance efficiency, and operational performance Lead initiatives as directed to implement process improvements and best practices

What we are looking for :



Essential

engineering background

, ideally with experience in rides, attractions, or a safety-critical engineering environment Experience in maintenance planning, compliance, auditing, or quality assurance Strong administrative, organisational, and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail Confident working with CMMS systems (Mobaro experience desirable) Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and support a wider team Proactive mindset with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement Strong communication and leadership skills, able to train, coach, and guide engineers effectively
