PURPOSE of the position:



The purpose of the role is to provide accurate parts & inventory management for the engineering team. The role will also be responsible for the day to day allocation of work to the engineering team via CMMS. Ordering of spare parts and ensuring constant supply will be a primary function of the role for both Newcold sites, as appropriate. In addition parts inventory and costings for finance, and weekly depreciable assets reports.

Main TASKS and DUTIES:


Preparing, planning, coordinating, controlling, evaluating the maintenance work that comes from periodically generated maintenance work and emerging work reported by operation, using the maintenance program. This includes managing internal and external employees.

Have contact with the logistics planning. Ensure that moments become available for maintenance (fixed times and flexible times). When there are no moments, make sure you have a plan B so that internal and external technicians/engineers can do their job.

Discuss the improvement proposals that come from the operation, the maintenance team and/or the reliability engineer. Implement the improvement proposals in the maintenance concept for both first and second line maintenance in the maintenance program. As well as ensuring that the basic condition of the installations is not compromised.

Manage maintenance program and responsible for the timely and correct recording of the work and follow-up of the planning, as well as informing the Maintenance manager and other stakeholders about the execution.

Receiving goods, matching orders with packing slips, checking goods and escalating deviations to manager

Placing ordered goods in the designated storage locations as well as cleaning the storage room

Inventorying and identifying needs for materials, in consultation with various departments, within the indentified own purchasing package and purchasing policy, aimed at placing orders at optimal conditions

Ensuring an efficient layout and keeping the warehouse in order, as well as signalling large-scale use of material, in consultation with the Engineers in order to promote efficiency, cost reduction, standardization of equipment and an efficient spare parts policy

Managing and maintaining the ERP system (Ultimo), Allocating work to engineers and monitoring maintenance dashboard performance.

Registering and administering the intake and distribution of material and goods, including registration of barcodes, invoice control and time administration, maintaining transport administration and providing relevant reports to external bodies

Develop effective training materials, tools, and resources. Prepare/install visual postings for 5S and improvements (signs, markings, etc.). Facilitate and participate in ongoing improvement projects involving 5S, Kiazen, etc. Coordinate with leadership to implement projects (5S, Kiazen, etc.)

Skills



Knowledge of ERP systems, technical maintenance planning, maintenance concepts and techniques

Knowledge of Microsoft office and other (technical) planning programs

Knowledge and experience in purchasing and warehousing parts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to 50,000.00 per year
