Role Responsibilities Include:
To oversee the nursery workshop and maintain all machinery, equipment and systems
To undertake planned and reactive maintenance on plant and nursery infrastructure
To maintain and develop irrigation, fertigation, and automation processes
To ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
To support new business initiatives and drive ongoing process improvements
Skills you will need:
Essential:
Proven experience in agricultural/mechanical engineering, plant maintenance, or a similar role
Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines and electrical systems
Skilled in welding and basic fabrication
Excellent communication skills
A team player able to work independently
Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills
Adaptable and flexible and to resolve issues proactively
A good understanding of healthy and safety standards and practices
Self motivated with a practical, dedicated mindset
Full driving licence

Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
