Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer

to join our team in Central London. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of industry experience and a proven track record of maintaining, servicing, and repairing air conditioning systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections, leak checks, servicing, and maintenance of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF systems, chillers, and other cooling equipment. Provide accurate and timely customer reports, including key equipment readings and system performance, through our service management software worksheets. Diagnose and troubleshoot faults to ensure systems operate at peak performance. Deliver comprehensive information on system faults and required remedial works to the office team, enabling them to prepare quotes for replacement parts and equipment. Carry out repairs, component replacements, and system upgrades as required. Ensure compliance with health and safety precautions and best practices, including conducting risk assessments for health, safety, and access issues prior to commencing work. Represent Comfort with the highest standards of professionalism. Work proactively and collaboratively with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Location

Customer sites within Greater London and surrounding home counties. The majority of work is in the West End and at Canary Wharf and West End.

Qualifications

F-Gas certification (essential) NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (preferred) A valid UK driving license (preferred)

Knowledge and Experience

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in air conditioning maintenance (essential) Comprehensive knowledge of air conditioning systems, including VRV/VRF systems, split units, and chillers (preferred) Manufacturer's training with Daikin and Mitsubishi (preferred) Comprehensive health and safety awareness and practical training in working at height (essential) Familiarity with Big Change service management software (preferred)

Working Conditions

Full health and safety awareness training will be provided for: risk assessment, personal protective equipment, ladder safety, manual handling, fire safety, electrical safety, asbestos awareness, confined spaces, Legionella awareness, COSHH, abrasive wheels, hand-arm vibration, noise awareness and workplace first aid. Practical training will be given in the safe use of ladders and rooftop safety.

Our team of mobile and static engineers look after a wide range of high end residential properties and commercial buildings. We specialise in air conditioning, cooling, heating, humidity control and ventilation systems.

Pay: 27,000.00-37,000.00 per year

Do you live within reasonable proximity to Central London to drive in each day? Our customers are based largely in Canary Wharf and the West End. Travel to the first site of the day and back home from the last job of the day is not paid.
