We are looking for a skilled and proactive

Maintenance Engineer

to join our Estates and Facilities team. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our venues and properties are maintained to the highest standard,providing a safe,efficient,and welcoming environment for our guests and teams.



Working closely with the Regional Maintenance Managers and the Head of Maintenance,you'll take ownership of day-to-day maintenance tasks,resolve issues quickly,and contribute to continuous improvement across the estate.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver reactive and planned maintenance,ensuring works are completed safely,efficiently,and to a high standard. Carry out general building fabric repairs,including painting,decorating,basic carpentry,tiling,and minor plumbing. Undertake preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks to minimise downtime and improve asset performance. Support on-site teams and contractors to ensure smooth coordination of maintenance works. Conduct regular inspections and report on job progress,safety issues,and improvement opportunities. Maintain accurate records of completed work,materials used,and any issues identified. Assist with site refurbishments,marketing installations,and special events or "buy-outs." Communicate effectively with operational teams to minimise service disruption.

About You

Proven experience in maintenance,facilities,or building engineering (hospitality experience desirable). Confident in general building repairs and maintenance tasks. Strong understanding of health and safety standards and compliance. Able to work independently,prioritise workload,and solve problems quickly. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A flexible approach to work,including a willingness to travel between sites as required.

Working Hours:

This role involves out-of-hours work,including evenings and weekends,as part of a rotating schedule or to meet operational needs.

Working Location:

Manchester and Liverpool.
