Baltic Creative CIC is seeking a proactive, enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our busy team. As Maintenance / Facilities Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient running of a wide range of daily property operations, focussed around PPM and reactive repairs and maintenance, cleaning and waste management, site health and safety and fire safety. Ensuring the buildings in the Baltic Creative portfolio are compliant, well- presented and operating at their best at all times.
This is a varied and dynamic role that requires a technically skilled individual with prior experience in a property or facilities management setting.
As part of a small, collaborative team, you will be expected to take a hands-on approach, actively carrying out routine maintenance tasks alongside more strategic oversight responsibilities.
Main duties and responsibilities
? Serve as a key point of contact for tenants across the property portfolio, ensuring high levels of customer service
? Lead on and co-ordinate reactive repairs, maintenance and emergency works; including undertaking minor repair works, general maintenance and DIY across the estate
? Manage the delivery of PPM works, including procurement, inspections, repair logging, financial reporting, and contract management and administration using a CRM system.
? Manage and oversee site Health & safety and fire safety compliance
Requirements
? Health & Safety / Facilities Management qualification such as IOSH,NEBOSH, IWFM
? Sound knowledge of current property health & safety and fire safety regulations and compliance
? Trade qualification or background (eg joinery, plumbing)
? Proven ability to manage and monitor budgets
? Good IT skills with experience of using property CRM systems
? Excellent customer service and communication abilities
? Ideally fire safety and / or first aid trained
