About you:



You will have Proven experience in leading a maintenance or facilities management function, with great customer focus Strong leadership and team management abilities Flexible and responsive to emergency maintenance issues as nothing breaks down between 9 and 5 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations

Key responsibilities



Maintenance:



Lead the team to deliver installation, repair and maintenance of all site machines, equipment building and other structures Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance Develop a PPM schedule ensuring all planned preventative maintenance is carried out in a timely manner with minimal operational interruption Optimise equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality achieving all KPI's

Facilities:



Oversee building maintenance, security, cleaning, and utilities Manage soft services relationships, such as waste removal and CCTV systems Coordinate planned maintenance and ensure minimal disruption to operations Ensure statutory compliance for facilities (e.g. fire safety, accessibility) Manage contractors and service providers, ensuring quality and cost control Maintain operational trackers for budgets, risk assessments, and action plans

Your skills & experience





Strong technical knowledge of electrical & mechanical and building systems Experience in conducting facility inspections, audits, and compliance reporting Proficient in MS Office, maintenance software, and reporting tools Ability to deliver through a team - managing priorities and team workload to maximise efficiency Personal and team compliance with company H&S policy, fostering a safety-first culture Create an environment leading to successful colleague engagement survey results Experience in conducting facility inspections, audits, and compliance reporting Ideally qualified to 18th Edition regulations
