The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate previous experience of working as a plant fitter, as well as possess good knowledge and understanding of fixed or mobile plant machinery and equipment. Ideally you will be apprentice trained in construction/agricultural plant maintenance or be a time served mechanical fitter. You must be able to have excellent communication skills and work well on your own initiative.


Working hours are Friday - Sunday, 6am - 6pm, 36 hours per week.





What You Will Be Doing:


Maintain and repair equipment including hydraulic systems, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and treatment machinery. Perform routine inspections, servicing, calibrations, and part replacements. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults efficiently. Record maintenance activities and document equipment issues. Respond to urgent breakdowns, including weekend callouts. Interpret project plans and coordinate installations with on-site teams. Carry out MIG, TIG, and other welding tasks as needed. Ensure high-quality workmanship, following safety standards at all times. Demonstrate a continuous improvement approach to all aspects of work



About You:


Recognised apprenticeship, preferably a higher-level standard. Ideally candidates would have experience working with, repairing and servicing Heavy Plant and Machinery Working independently, you will be expected to manage your time and workload. Full UK Driving Licence
