We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team.

.The ideal candidate a strong background in fabrication and assembly. As a Fitter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining all plant and equipment in good order and, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Perform welding tasks using Stick welding techniques to join metal parts securely. Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to carry out fabrication and assembly tasks. Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve production efficiency. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.

Qualifications

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and welding within a manufacturing or construction environment. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication processes. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
