Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent leadership skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Complying with all aspects of Health & Safety at Work Act (e.g. COSHH). Performing preventative maintenance. Checking the maintenance book daily and carry out all repairs etc as necessary. Ensuring regular test and checks are carried out and recorded, including boiler function checks, fire alarm systems activation, generator and water temperature tests. Ensuring the exterior of the building and grounds are maintained to a safe and good standard. Moving furniture as required. Keeping the gardens well maintained, cutting grass, digging borders, weeding, hedge cutting. Document maintenance activities, including repairs performed and parts used. Understanding of requirements to meet regulatory requirements for the buildings, environment and equipment. Proven maintenance experience, including performance of routine maintenance. Willing to undertake appropriate training as required. Confident in the monitoring and maintaining all compliance related checks and recording outcomes.

Requirements

Proven experience in maintenance roles with a strong mechanical knowledge. Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively in English. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-18.90 per hour

Expected hours: 21 per week
