Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grounds and Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance team and ensure the efficient operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of grounds and maintenance processes. This role is crucial in maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our premises.

Responsibilities

Supervise the grounds team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure all equipment and facilities are kept in optimal condition. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify issues and coordinate repairs as needed. Collaborate with other departments to understand their maintenance needs and provide timely support. Train and mentor team members on best practices in maintenance procedures and safety protocols. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the maintenance department.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a maintenance environment. Experience of grounds, grass cutting, landscaping, flagging Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
