Overview
We are looking for a reliable and dedicated All-Round Gardener to join our friendly team at a well-established Residential Care Home in Pentraeth. This is a hands-on role that requires a versatile individual who can take pride in maintaining our beautiful grounds and ensuring the facility remains in top condition for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Gardening & Grounds Maintenance:
Maintain the grounds, gardens, and outdoor spaces, including mowing, planting, pruning, and ensuring the environment is safe and attractive for residents.Health & Safety:
Ensure that all maintenance and gardening tasks comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.Waste Management:
Assist with the management of waste and disposal as required.Equipment Management:
Maintain and care for tools and equipment to ensure they are in safe working order.Key Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in a gardening role, preferably in a care home or similar environment. A passion for gardening and outdoor work with a good eye for detail. Strong communication skills and a positive, friendly attitude towards residents and staff. Ability to work independently, use initiative, and prioritise tasks. A flexible and reliable approach to work.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.89 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 24 per week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday Weekend availability
