Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of skills, enabling them to tackle various maintenance and repair tasks efficiently. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving abilities and excellent customer service skills. As a Handy Man, you will play a vital role in ensuring that facilities are well-maintained and that all repairs are carried out to the highest standards.

Duties

Perform general maintenance and repair tasks across various facilities, including plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry. Weld and fabricate metal components as needed for repairs or installations. Maintain and troubleshoot logic controllers to ensure optimal operation of equipment. Read and interpret schematics to execute repairs accurately. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with completed work. Supervise and lead small teams during larger projects or when additional assistance is required. Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly after use. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and materials used.

Experience

Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance or repair roles. Familiarity with electrical systems and basic troubleshooting techniques. Previous experience in customer service is highly desirable, as interaction with clients will be frequent. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to supervise others effectively when necessary. Proficiency in English for clear communication with clients and team members. A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks as required.
