We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills in maintenance and repair work, demonstrating proficiency in areas such as electrical systems, mechanical knowledge, and welding. This role requires an individual who can effectively supervise tasks, deliver excellent customer service, and lead projects to completion while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repairs on various systems and equipment. Interpret and work from schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively. Conduct electrical repairs and installations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Utilise programmable logic controllers for system diagnostics and repairs. Execute welding tasks as needed for structural or equipment repairs. Provide mechanical support in the maintenance of machinery and tools. Supervise maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to client requests promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

Proven experience in maintenance roles with a strong understanding of electrical systems. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings. Experience with programmable logic controllers is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform welding tasks. Excellent leadership skills with prior supervising experience preferred. Exceptional customer service skills, demonstrating a commitment to client satisfaction. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
