Job Summary

Astley Care Home is looking for a part time handyperson to join our team. We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, and willing to work as a team member to assist the manager and maintenance manager in the smooth running of the home.

Duties and Responsibilities

Minor repairs to furniture, decoration and equipment around the home Keeping internal decoration in good order throughout the home Maintaining gardens and external areas in a tidy state Assist with "deep cleans" around the home, as and when required Assist with any other reasonable tasks requested by Home Manager of which you feel competent to undertake.
We are looking for someone who is kind, considerate and willing to become an integral part of our team at the home - making our residents feel comfortable, safe and well cared for. The hours could be worked over 1 or 2 days per week, and it would be an ideal role for someone who enjoys diy, and who does not want to work fulltime
