Our Prudhoe site features two paper machines, seven converting lines, a recycling plant, and an integrated distribution centre. To maintain high-speed, high-volume production, the reliability and performance of our infrastructure is critical -- and that's where you come in !



About The Role


------------------

As a Maintenance Leader at our Prudhoe site, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. You'll lead both planned and reactive maintenance activities, championing a zero unplanned stops philosophy. Your responsibilities will include coaching the team in best practices, managing maintenance systems like SAP, and driving continuous improvement through breakdown elimination and cost reduction strategies. You'll oversee maintenance KPIs, budgets, and long-term asset repair plans, all while fostering a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment. This is a leadership role where your ability to inspire, plan, and execute will directly impact our performance and product quality.

What You Will Do

Lead planned and reactive maintenance activities to minimise downtime. Promote a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment. Coach the team in maintenance best practices and continuous improvement. Manage maintenance systems (e.g. SAP) and drive cost-effective solutions. Monitor KPIs and oversee long-term asset repair and sustainability plans. Act as a visible leader, driving team performance and development.

Bring

Proven experience in leading & motivating a team of maintenance engineers , ideally in a FMCG production environment. A minimum of HNC or HND in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification . Experience of creating & implementing maintenance procedures which focus on improving asset reliability through the full Asset Lifecycle Managem ent. A high level of self motivation , a strong communicator and familiar with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) . Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of maintenance stra tegies (PPM & TPM) . A h ands on approach with high attention to detail, with a 'can do' attitude .
