As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our maintenance team at our Leek site in Staffordshire.
You will be responsible for the maintenance team and delivery of both breakdown and planned maintenance activities on site including the annual maintenance shutdown.

Demonstrate commitment to safety, health, environmental, and quality goals, with awareness of relevant regulations such as, ATEX, PUWER, and PSSR, (API) manufacturing or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles
Lead a multidisciplinary team effectively, recognising your own strengths and weaknesses, and fostering collaboration to solve problems
Plan and organise to balance risk and opportunities across a range of operational and strategic goals
Act with personal, professional, and behavioural integrity at all times
Confidence implementing and managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs using CMMS systems
Ability to monitor costs, plan shutdowns and support capital projects
Educated to NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent HNC/HND)
NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent (desirable but not essential)
Experience managing steam or thermal oil systems (desirable but not essential)
Understand and apply or other tools to improve maintenance reliability (desirable but not essential)
Familiarity with rotating equipment, instrumentation, control systems, and utilities such as compressed air, chilled water, and vacuum systems. (desirable but not essential)
What You'll Be Doing:

Model and promote a positive culture in line with Croda values, working with the Site Engineering Manager to set objectives and targets to deliver the maintenance development plan
Work closely with the Operational team to align priorities and agree ways of working to achieve safe and efficient equipment
Lead the maintenance team, ensuring that support, coaching, development, performance management, discipline, appraisals are conducted in line with Croda values and culture
Measure performance using existing KPI's and by developing new KPI targets, referencing authoritative good practice across the key elements of the business for example safety and quality
