Maintenance Manager - Kent
This is actually an opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to step up to Engineering Manager and join an international FMCG manufacturer with a family feel, known for its innovation, quality, and supportive culture. This is a key role for an Maintenance Manager who wants to progress and lead a skilled team, drive improvements, and shape the future of a fast-paced, automated site.
About the Company
Our client is producing in-demand consumer products. With ongoing investment and a loyal, friendly workforce, they're looking for a Maintenance Manager with fresh ideas, strong leadership, and a continuous improvement mindset.
The Role
As Maintenaance Manager / Engineering Manager, you'll take ownership of the site's engineering function, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation of automated machinery and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the engineering team.
Deliver the planned maintenance (PPM) programme.
Manage budgets and control costs effectively.
Drive continuous improvement and implement new processes.
Oversee CapEx projects and achieve KPI targets.
Implement cost-saving initiatives and manage key stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
Recognised engineering qualification or apprenticeship.
Proven experience within FMCG or high-speed manufacturing.
3+ years' leadership and people management experience.
Strong background in process improvement and maintenance strategy.
