Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a solid background in both electrical and mechanical systems. This role requires effective management of maintenance staff, ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest standards, and implementing preventive maintenance programmes to enhance operational efficiency.

Duties

Supervise and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support in their daily activities. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure all machinery and equipment are operating efficiently. Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment, identifying areas for improvement or repair. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and inventory management. Collaborate with project management teams to support new installations or upgrades of equipment. Utilise schematics and logic controllers to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the maintenance department. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to suggest enhancements to processes.

Experience

Proven experience in a similar maintenance management role, demonstrating strong leadership skills. Extensive mechanical knowledge, with a solid understanding of electrical systems and logic controllers. Experience in project management, overseeing maintenance projects from inception to completion. Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics related to electrical systems. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with team members and other departments. A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
