Responsible for ensuring the club's facilities, grounds, and marine infrastructure are safe, clean, and well-maintained for members and visitors. The role is varied, involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, and typically requires flexibility, a proactive attitude, and strong customer service skills.
Facilities and Grounds Maintenance:
Perform routine inspections, general upkeep, and minor repairs on club buildings (clubhouse, workshops, office etc.), pontoons, and surrounding hardstanding areas. This includes tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical checks, and general cleaning.
Marine Operations Support:
Assist with the daily operations of the marina and boatyard, including the movement, berthing, and handling of vessels. This can involve operating telehandler, and hoists to lift, launch, and store boats securely.
Equipment Maintenance:
Conduct routine checks, servicing, and repair of general equipment.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines and regulations, conduct safety inspections, manage risk assessments, and assist in emergency or pollution response situations as needed.
Customer Service:
Act as a point of contact for members and visiting crews, providing a helpful and professional service, assisting with queries, and ensuring a positive experience.
Administration:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections using internal systems and complete necessary logs and reports.
Health & Safety:
Complete all operational checks outlined in our Health & Safety Policy.
