Maintenance Operative Responsibilities:

General Maintenance: Carry out general maintenance and repair work in residential and commercial properties.

Routine Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and provide recommendations for solutions.

Repairs and Replacements: Repair or replace broken or faulty fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed.

Installation and Assembly: Install and assemble furniture, fixtures, and other items as required.

Painting: Paint interior and exterior surfaces to maintain the appearance and condition of properties.

Basic Plumbing and Electrical Repairs: Handle basic plumbing and electrical repairs to ensure the functionality of the property.

Work Area Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements:

Experience: Proven experience as a maintenance operative or in a similar role.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of general maintenance and repair techniques.

Tool Proficiency: Ability to effectively use hand and power tools.

Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions.

Time Management: Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks and complete work efficiently.

Communication and Customer Service: Good communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
