OPPORTUNITY AWAITS AT MORRO - Maintenance Operative

Thoughtfully designed and created with the resident in mind, we put personal space first whilst providing access to a variety of shared social spaces. All of our buildings have a state-of-the-art fitness studio, cinema room, family-style kitchen, co-working spaces and communal areas to relax in. Once settled, residents can take advantage of a range of services including regular fresh grocery deliveries, laundry services and access to a personal trainer.

The Altham, Walthamstow

Hours:

40 hours per week, shift patterns to cover Monday - Sunday

As a

Maintenance Operative

your main responsibilities include:

Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance work, training will be provided, basic knowledge of general property maintenance preferred. (basic painting skills required) Carry out fault finding and leak investigations. Carry out repairs and/or additional work arising from examinations and investigations. Comply with Health and Safety processes and responsibilities. Complete work reports on an iPad Work as part of the maintenance team and under your own initiative Liaise and communicate with residents in person, over the phone and via email keeping them informed of every step until their query is resolved Ensure jobs are completed as per the SLA Stock-taking (where appropriate) and keep records of stock levels. Ensure that plant rooms and other maintenance areas are kept tidy, and equipment is checked on a regular basis. Faulty or broken equipment is to be reported and resolved through liaison with your Maintenance Manager and outside contractors. Sign in and assist specialist sub-contractors when required. Replace light switches, light bulbs and fixtures. Control and direct specialist sub-contractors at all times when they visit site Replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs and fixtures Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs To be part of the site on call rota to cover emergency call outs To undertake any other duties as and when required that are commensurate with the role
