About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, skilled Maintenance Operative to carry out a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across multiple properties and sites. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, a broad skill set, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on buildings and equipment. Perform minor plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and decorating tasks as required. Respond promptly to reported faults and resolve issues efficiently. Assist with the installation of fixtures, fittings, and equipment. Work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and contractors. Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and report recurring issues. Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and company policies. Travel to various sites across the South East as required.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar maintenance or handyman role. Good all-round skills in plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs. Strong understanding of Health & Safety standards. Proactive approach and excellent problem-solving skills. Able to work independently and manage workload effectively. Physically fit and capable of manual work. Full UK driving licence (essential). Willingness to travel across the South East. Ability to pass a DBS check.
