Location: Pittodrie House Hotel, near Inverurie, Aberdeenshire

Hours: Part-Time (flexible hours, including occasional weekends)

Pittodrie House Hotel is a historic and picturesque country house hotel nestled at the foot of Bennachie. We pride ourselves on offering exceptional hospitality in a unique setting, and we're looking for a reliable and skilled Part-Time Handyperson to join our team.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and practical individual to help with general maintenance and upkeep of the hotel and grounds. This is an ideal role for someone with a background in DIY, maintenance, or trades who is looking for flexible, part-time work in a beautiful rural setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out minor repairs and routine maintenance (e.g., painting, fixing leaks, replacing lightbulbs) Assist with general upkeep of the grounds and buildings Ensure all work is carried out safely and to a high standard Liaise with the hotel management team to prioritise maintenance tasks Identify and report larger maintenance issues requiring specialist contractors

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in a similar maintenance or handyperson role Confident with basic plumbing, joinery, painting, and general DIY Reliable, self-motivated, and well-organised Able to work independently and as part of a small team Flexible and responsive to the needs of a busy hospitality environment
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
