Cedar Court Residential Care is currently seeking Maintenance Person who is passionate and enthusiastic about developing a career within maintenance and care.

Responsibilities



Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and systems Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks accordingly Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance tasks

About The Role



Requirements:



High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience in maintenance or a related field Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude Excellent customer service skills to interact with staff and address their concerns Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Basic welding skills for minor repairs or fabrication work Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems is a plus Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Ability to supervise and provide guidance to other maintenance personnel when necessary. Maintenance: 5 years (required) Care Home: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required)

12.21 - 12.51 per hour
