Job Description

We are a family run care home. We are looking for someone who is happy to work and use their own initiative to:

Undertake general maintenance Painting and decorating and general DIY jobs Complete any handyman jobs that arise within the working week
We are specifically looking for someone who has a general all round expertise in all aspects of general maintenance work including basic plumbing and electrical works, so please do not apply unless you have. We do not require you to be gas safe qualified. but this would be an advantage. We would also be interested in hearing from anyone who would prefer to work freelance and invoice as and when work has been completed. We have a number of locations where you can expect to work, all local to Porthcawl. This position is being offered on a rolling one month contract, with the possibility that it may become permanent.

You will need your own general day to day tools, have a good knowledge of all aspects of general maintenance and be able to work on your own initiative and problem solve. The position is subject to two satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check. We can pay for the first DBS and recoup through your wages. Subsequent DBS checks will be paid for by the company.

Pay: 12.21-13.40 per hour
