This is a mobile role that plays a vital part in maintaining comfortable, compliant, and welcoming spaces for the children and young people in our care.

Your Role

As a Maintenance Operative at Bright Life Living, you will:

Carry out a wide range of general maintenance tasks and repairs across multiple homes Respond to maintenance issues promptly to minimise disruption Conduct regular property inspections to proactively identify and address issues Work collaboratively with Home Managers to coordinate and prioritise tasks Ensure all work meets health and safety regulations and safeguarding standards Maintain accurate records of all work completed, inspections, and materials used Occasionally assist with small refurbishment or improvement projects

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a maintenance role, ideally within healthcare or residential care A good understanding of health and safety compliance and property regulations A

Full UK Driving Licence (clean)

and willingness to travel between sites daily A

clear Enhanced DBS check

(or willingness to undergo one) Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and resolve issues proactively A compassionate, adaptable, and professional attitude aligned with our values
