We are recruiting for an experienced Hotel Maintenance Assistant to join the team at the 4 star Brooklands Hotel & Spa

The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager with a variety of general repairs, hotel maintenance projects, painting & decorating and jobs to ensure the property is looking its best inside and out. We need to ensure that the guest has a great experience and the property is presented to a great standard. From painting & decorating a hotel bedroom, corridor and spa , light bulbs, Spa Jacuzzi management , gardening, recycling champion and day to day reactive maintenance of the property.

Requirements:

You will be able to work on your own using your initiative as well as contribute to the overall success of your team and the hotel. You must have the following:

Previous experience in a similar maintenance role in a hotel preferable or experience in property maintenance required and or a qualification in a specific trade, plumbing, decorating, electrical however full training will be given. Logical and organised approach in handling jobs and tasks. Energetic, welcoming and professional approach to guests and team members. Excellent communication skills with good standards of literacy.

As this is a seven day per week operation, a degree of flexibility is required to cover weekends, bank holidays early morning and evenings. 40 hour a week contract.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 23,975.00-29,000.00 per year
