Balby, Doncaster



31,590 FTE (14.40 per hour + 12.5% shift allowance)



37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday working either 06:00-14:00 / 07:00 - 15:00

Maintenance Planning Administrator

in our Field Services team

based in Doncaster

. This is a 6-month FTC to provide administrative support to the planning team during the busy seasonal period.

Over 69 million tonnes of freight were moved by rail in the UK in 2024. Our field service team keep these locomotives running, responding to breakdowns and carrying out vital running tests and maintenance. As Maintenance Planning Administrator you will play a vital role in co-ordinating this effort.

This role would be ideal for a candidate with some administrative experience in a similar role and looking to enhance their skill set.

As a Maintenance Planning Administrator your role

will include:

Ensuring accurate input of data Maintaining up to date records and electronically storing in line with data protection policies Handling queries, both via telephone and email, as required Assist in the completion of all KPI monthly reports Proactive and effective support of team members in service delivery Providing cover for the maintenance planners during annual leave

Our ideal Maintenance Planning Administrator will have:



Prior experience in a planning role (desirable but not essential) Excellent IT skills Strong literacy and numeracy skills Meticulous and methodical in completing tasks Able to work to demanding schedules and delivery deadlines High level of professionalism & strong sense of customer satisfaction. Self- starter with strong ability to build relationships and meet people with ease and confidence.
You'll need to be based close to

Doncaster

and have valid right to work in the UK.
