Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge, electrical experience. A commitment to customer service and leadership skills will be beneficial in this position.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring. Read and interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing issues effectively. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or guests. Document all maintenance activities accurately for record-keeping purposes. Assisting the Housekeeping dept. with the delivery of hotel linen; please note heavy lifting is involved in this task.

Requirements

Proven experience in maintenance roles with a strong mechanical background. Electrical experience is desireable but not essential. Excellent customer service skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is necessary for communication purposes.
