Estates Services

manages the University's estate - one of the most iconic and diverse anywhere in the world. Our Engineering and Estates Maintenance team ensures that thousands of mechanical and electrical assets remain reliable, efficient, and safe.

About the Role


The role of Maintenance Scheduler is a role within Estates Maintenance in Estates Services, reporting to one of the Maintenance Planners. The post holder will be responsible for organising and supervising the delivery of engineering planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities in line with contractual agreements. They will support the wider Operations teams in the development of processes, controls and reporting and will support a culture of safety and compliance.

About You



Substantial experience of contractor management A clear understanding and commitment to Health and Safety. Supervisory skills and experience including evidence of problem solving and ability to influence and persuade others to in order achieve a positive result. Excellent organisational behaviours and ability to plan and prioritise workload for self. Good written communication skills, and the ability to produce reports that may be read and understood by a range of non-specialist audiences. Effective inter-personal skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to communicate at all levels with tact, diplomacy and openness. Ability to contribute to change through recommending and implementing new processes.
