Job Description

We're seeking a proactive, skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team. You'll be responsible for repairs, and preventative maintenance of our company's buildings at various locations in the UK. Your key responsibilities will include:

Carrying out general building maintenance-- this will include repairs to electrical, plumbing and cladding as needed Be able to operate suitable plant e.g. cherry picker and/or scissor lift safely (IPAF licence mandatory) Dealing with external contractors where necessary Following safe systems of work in line with CDM Regulations Maintaining accurate maintenance logs and records
Schedule

40 hours per week - rota'd shifts between Monday and Friday, 08:00 to 17:30

Essential Requirements:

Strong practical skills in electrical, plumbing, cladding, and general building along with minor joinery skills, would all be useful in this role Experience operating cherry pickers and a valid IPAF licence (company may train) Full UK driving licence and ability to travel Based in Newport or within a 45-minute drive radius Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Desirable Qualifications:

SMSTS certification NEBOSH health and safety qualification IOSH certification Own set of trade tools (we can also supply tools if needed)
