Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining equipment and facilities, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are upheld.

Duties

Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs. Perform routine maintenance tasks including electrical repairs, mechanical troubleshooting, and welding as necessary. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and operational procedures. Utilise logic controllers for diagnostics and repairs on automated systems. Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance inquiries from staff and clients promptly. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.

Qualifications

Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise projects and teams effectively. Strong electrical knowledge coupled with mechanical expertise is required. Experience with welding techniques is advantageous. Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in maintenance tasks is preferred. Ability to read schematics accurately to facilitate repairs and installations.
