JOB DESCRIPTION
Lead and manage maintenance operations to ensure equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and a safe working environment. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to exceed performance targets in safety, quality, and efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety
Issue work permits after verifying all safety measures for internal staff and external contractors.
Conduct contractor safety inductions for EO facility risks.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Lead or contribute to root cause analysis for safety incidents.
Quality
Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures.
Participate in CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) processes.
Develop and update operating instructions for calibration and maintenance.
Ensuring compliance with the Global Change Management process, including evaluating the need for Change Control and creation of any test plans that may be required as a result.
Review operational trends to proactively identify and address potential faults.
Maintenance
Planning, prioritizing, assigning, supervising, reviewing and participating in all tasks related to facility maintenance
Supervising and motivating Maintenance Technicians, ensuring 24/5 shift coverage as well as on-call rotations
Ensure activities are performed in accordance with EAM, such as:
Preventative Maintenance tasks are scheduled and performed prior to the due date.
Calibration tasks are scheduled, coordinated and performed prior to the due date
On Demand tasks (such as breakdowns, repairs etc) are documented, scheduled, coordinated, and performed within a timely manner.
Ownership of the 6 Monthly Facility shutdown plan, ensuring contractors are scheduled in and managed during this time.
In depth understanding of the EO Process and the Equipment used at the facility; be prepared to be 'next level' support for the Maintenance Technicians in trouble shooting activities
Responsibly handling emergency situations or after-hour calls for repairs and maintenance.
Coordinating training sessions in facility maintenance, safety procedures and methods.
Coordinating external training for the Maintenance Technicians to ensure competency.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge/Education and Training:
HNC Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Discipline
Safety Qualification i.e. IOSH, NEBOSH Certificate
Experience:
Several years of professional experience in plant maintenance
Supervisor Experience
Strong IT Knowledge
Experience working with Industrial Control Systems
Experience working at a COMAH site
Experience working in a heavily regulated environment
Skills:

Pay: 47,000.00-50,000.00 per year
