Overview:
We now have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our highly regarded repairs and maintenance team based in Homerton, Hackney. This position will provide you with the opportunity to take on some supervisory duties, whilst still maintaining an active role within your trade.
This position is initially offered on a fixed term contract up until 31 October 2025. Upon review there is potential the position will be then made permanent

Job Purpose:
Do you have a background in maintenance and looking for a role that encompasses hands on with the opportunity to move into a supervisory role?
In this role you will be split 50/50 between hands on and site supervisory. When you are hands on you will be carrying out reactive repairs and planned maintenance (PPMs). The other aspect of this role will be monitoring Helpdesk calls, site inductions and supervising of contractors, COSHH management and being a point of call and support for the site maintenance operatives.
The ideal candidate will come from a multi skilled M&E background. You will either be in a supervisor role or senior/lead maintenance role and looking to develop.

• a full time permanent position. Normal working hours are 8am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. You will also participate in an on call rota for emergency repairs where you will receive a standby allowance and overtime rates.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate previous experience of working within a multi-skilled or trade role. This experience might have been gained working directly for the NHS, or a maintenance contractor providing services within the NHS although not essential and candidates with experience of maintaining other commercial properties (schools, prisons, supermarkets for example) with also be considered.
A full UK driving license is required.
