Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of mechanical systems, ensuring that all equipment is maintained to the highest standards. This role is crucial in managing a team of maintenance personnel, coordinating projects, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Duties

Supervise and manage the maintenance team, utilising efficient use of our engineer's time. Ordering and cost control over all parts needed for our plant maintenance team. Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment using our software programs. Ensure compliance with legal requirements. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and inventory management. Liaise with our accounts team to ensure accurate invoicing and payments in line with payment terms.

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a maintenance environment is advantageous. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to facilitate clear instructions and reporting. Ability to analyse problems logically and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
