Role
Due to company expansion, we are looking for an experienced maintenance supervisor/ operative to support our team on crucial ongoing projects.
We are seeking a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in joinery and general building maintenance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys varied, hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining a high-quality environment, and can adapt to different maintenance challenges across the site.
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for co-ordinating and supervising the work within their own team, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and to programme
Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements and that they have been briefed to the team and understood
Undertake preventive and reactive maintenance activities in line with site schedules and priorities
Diagnose issues, identify solutions, and complete repairs efficiently and safely
Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and departments to ensure maintenance activities are well coordinated
Accurately record all maintenance work using the site's computerised maintenance management system
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards at all times
Be flexible and proactive, willing to 'turn your hand to anything' as required to support the operation of the site
Requirements
Demonstrates qualities to deliver Trustland values e.g. honesty, integrity, teamwork, health + well-being, sustainability
Proven experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer within a commercial, industrial, or regulated environment
Knowledge of H&S regulations and safe systems of work (e.g., permits to work, risk assessments)
Excellent people and communication skills
Basic understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems
Computer literacy is essential
Experience working in a pharmaceutical, healthcare, or GMP-regulated environment would be advantageous
Ideally holding an SSSTS qualification
