Maintenance Technician





We're hiring a Maintenance Technician to support AMH Material Handling's expanding team at our Aylesford site, following an internal promotion. The Role





As a Maintenance Technician, you'll work alongside a team of engineers to keep our client's automated systems performing at their best.

You'll support the site in maintaining high operational uptime, carrying out preventative maintenance, and resolving faults quickly and effectively.


Location: Aylesford, Kent



Hours: Four-on, four-off day shifts (12 hours per shift)



Salary: 35,000 per annum plus overtime - with opportunities for progression




What you'll be doing:




Supporting the Maintenance Engineer with routine planned maintenance tasks Carrying out reactive repairs and fault-finding on automated systems Logging work accurately on the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Maintaining housekeeping standards in automated areas Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times Liaising with customer operations teams (including Tesco) to maintain uptime Providing technical input to improve performance and reliability

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone practical, reliable and eager to learn. You'll be supported by experienced engineers and provided with on-the-job training.


What We're Looking For





We're open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds - whether you're a hands-on mechanic, facilities technician or someone looking to make a step into engineering.


Practical mindset, with confidence with hand tools etc would be advantageous Strong communication and teamwork skills IT proficient and the ability to pick up new systems Positive, adaptable attitude and willingness to learn Full UK right to work and ability to commute to Aylesford
