ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician with a proven track record in delivering both hard and soft buildings maintenance related services with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for completing Bradford Live's maintenance tasks, ensuring that the building, facilities, and grounds are maintained to the best possible presentation, safety, and compliancy standards and within agreed budgetary parameters.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete all planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks.
Ensure effective induction and supervision of contractors on site, in accordance with agreed venue processes and safety system at work procedures.
Complete building service checks and compliance audits on appropriate digital systems.
Be a designated keyholder for the venue.
Fault find on all mechanical and electrical systems and escalate to specialist contractors and service providers where required.
Complete monthly meter readings and report as appropriate.
Take ownership of all regular checks regarding water safety and life safety systems.
Provide support to the Facilities Manager and Building Team, covering periods of absence where necessary.
Maintenance support for live events as and when required.
Maintain Health and Safety and Fire Safety procedures.
Attend any required training as identified by the management team.

ABOUT YOU
Experience delivering both hard and soft facilities services.
Fault finding and conducting maintenance experience on a wide range of equipment and infrastructure.
Fire Safety, Water Safety and H&S knowledge.
Experience in maintaining a comparable facility and operating in a fast-paced environment.
Pro-active working approach.
