No experience? No problem. We'll teach you everything you need to know -- you just need to bring a good attitude and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

Learning how to fit and balance tyres Supporting the technician and keeping things running smoothly Assisting with wheel alignment procedures Helping install the Puncture Safe tyre sealant product -- full training will be provided*
Providing friendly and helpful customer service Helping with stock and keeping the workshop clean and organised

Requirements:

Willingness to learn and get stuck in Punctuality and a bit of common sense No experience needed -- just a good work ethic

TYRE TECHNICIAN

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. This role involves performing tyre installations, repairs, and maintenance while ensuring excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be comfortable with heavy lifting and working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain tyres on various vehicles, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Conduct thorough inspections of tyres to identify wear, damage, or other issues that may require attention. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to perform tyre-related tasks. Assist customers with tyre selection and provide recommendations based on their needs. Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Keep accurate records of services performed and communicate effectively with team members. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while performing duties.

Qualifications

Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to tyre installation and repair. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during tyre installations. A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail in all tasks performed. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
