Job Description

Join our team in northern Gloucestershire (near Chipping Campden) as a Maintenance Technician. We are a food waste processor transforming diverse waste materials into 100% renewable electricity and gas via Anaerobic Digestion.

Our engineering team is responsible for the maintenance and repair of Production machinery, AD process equipment, water treatment plant, buildings and site civils. They are also charged with optimising the performance of the AD process by interpreting analysis results e.g. methane and HS content of Biogas and taking the necessary action. The individual working within the team of engineers need to ensure:

? adherence to safe working practices

? timely response to breakdowns

? high quality of maintenance and repair

? a proactive approach to improving machinery efficiency and effectiveness

Key Areas of Responsibility:



Adhere to the Site Health & Safety policy in all work activities Completing Planned Maintenance tasks and recording of corrective actions on the computer based Maintenance system Ensuring that time keeping and punctuality is maintained. Coordination of breakdowns ensuring quickest possible response and rectification Scheduling and organisation of maintenance and improvement works and liaising with suppliers to source critical parts Maintaining Asset database and keeping up to date Ensure all breakdowns are recorded along with the time and type Ensure stock levels are maintained to a reasonable economic level, ensuring common failure parts are available by identifying parts required and upcoming issues are identified to the Lead Engineer Supervise contractors ensuring safe systems of work are followed - approve RAMS Responsible for Pump repairs / refurbishment and any new installations Completion of timely, accurate paperwork Assistance with project work with Lead Engineer Strong problem solving skills with an analytical mindset Effective communicator at all levels Ability to work independently or as part of a small team Must have a positive attitude and a desire to continually improve the process

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 33,000.00-37,000.00 per year
