We are currently looking for a skilled
Maintenance Technician / Engineer
to join our manufacturing team. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of our machinery and supporting equipment.

Key Responsibilities
As a
Maintenance Technician / Engineer,
you will be responsible for both proactive and reactive maintenance across the site, including:
Developing and delivering Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
Carrying out predictive maintenance using Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime
Maintaining accurate service records, logs, and calibration documentation
Working with OEMs and external contractors for specialist repairs
Implementing 5S and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices
Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Supporting production teams during breakdowns to minimise disruption
Ensuring full compliance with PUWER, LOLER, and EHS regulations
Managing spares, technical documentation, and equipment manuals
Training operators on daily checks and basic maintenance tasks

Essential Skills, Qualifications/Experience:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing maintenance role
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering
A proactive, "can-do" attitude with flexibility and adaptability
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Desirable Skills, Qualifications/Experience:
Experience maintaining CNC or automated machinery (Punch / Press Brake)
Knowledge of TPM, PPM systems, and CMMS software
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
Good PC skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)
